For our family vacation, we spent 5 days in Phuket.  If you are looking for ideas to help with planning your family trip, couples trips, girls trip, or just a solo adventure to Phuket here is our itinerary.

Day 1

  • Travel from Japan to Phuket, with a connecting flight in Bangkok
  • Check-in to the hotel – Katathani Phuket Beach Resort
  • Dinner – room service

Day 2

  • Breakfast at hotel restaurant Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Hung out by one of the many pools at the hotel
  • Lunch at a little seafood restaurant across the street from the hotel
  • Old Town Phuket – took a stroll through Old Town, did a little shopping, and sightseeing
  • Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe Phuket
  • Pool time at the hotel in the evening to relax before bed

Day 3

  • Breakfast at the hotel – Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Pool time! Checked out a different pool on the hotel grounds.
  • Lunch at one of the hotel restaurants Seacret.
  • Gift shopping at the hotel store
  • Cobra Show – Siam Cobra Show
  • Fed and pictures with an elephant
  • Shopping in Patong
  • Dinner at the seafood restaurant across the street from the hotel

Day 4

  • Breakfast at the hotel – Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Morning pool time
  • Lunch a few blocks away from the hotel near Patong Beach
  • Shopping and sightseeing in the area we had lunch
  • Afternoon pool time to cool down – it was nice and warm out today
  • Dinner at the hotel – Fisherman’s Wharf

Day 5

  • Time to head home.
  • Check out of the hotel
  • Taxi to the airport to fly back to Japan with a connecting flight in Bangkok.
