Yawn! It’s mid-afternoon here and I am tuckered out. I woke up earlier than normal. I was up at 4:30am, because B had to be out the door by 5:00am to head to work. Once he was out the door and off, I made a hot cup of tea and came to sit at the computer check Facebook, Pinterest, and email. My photo of the day, is just that my morning view.
I have my new cup from Starbucks. The city on it is Sendai, Japan. It was one of the hard hit cities from the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami here in Japan. On my screen I am pinning and liking a pin. The pin is Quick and Handy: Turn a Cabinet into Cookbook Storage. You can find this DIY on Mommie…Again blog. I have it pinned in my For the Kitchen board, if you want to pin it also. That is my quick look at how my morning’s here at Life of Creed start off. Well, at least some days they. Most days’ they start at 5:30am.
What a cool cup! Have fun with your phot challenge
Just wondering what took you to Japan. Will you be there long? Is everything back to normal there?
So glad you can blog from there and keep in touch with everyone from the states.
Oh, and thanks for pinning my DIY Cabinets!!
KIM
Hi Kim!
My husband is in the military and he is stationed here. We have been here almost three and half years. We came to Japan in December 2010 and a few months later we are being welcomed with the 9.0 earthquake. We are many miles South of Fukushima, so we were not as affected. The areas near there are still slowly rebuilding. I read in yesterday in Japan Today that Fukushima children start school in Nagano as part of special project.
Looks like a great way to start the day!!
