I have been homeschooling my daughter (The Princess) since preschool. Next school year she will be starting first grade!! Wow, the time sure is flying by. I know when I first started researching about homeschooling it seemed a bit overwhelming. But I wrote down every curriculum, book, or other information I thought would be good for my research. Of course I researched everything I wrote down too. I wanted to share some of the resources I have found on our homeschooling journey.
I hope these resources are able to help new homeschooling families or families looking to homeschool. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find a freebie to help you with the upcoming school year.

This is a great list of info. Homeschooling is awesome for the kids.
Nice resource list!
Always great to have options when you choose to do this!! Shared it on twitter for my friends who home school. 🙂
I love this, thank you for sharing your resources! My son is in public school but my daughter hasn’t started. I like having homeschool as an option especially because we may move in a couple years and it might work out better for our family.
Homeschooling has worked out well for us. With moving from one Japan back to the United States in the middle of a school year, it made for a very easy schooling transition. We took out winter break during the move, so that we didn’t have to worry about playing catchup in the evenings in hotel rooms or while we got our home set-up once all our household goods arrived from Japan.
These are amazing resources, and it is so handy all in one place. I do not currently homeschool but several friends and relatives do, so I will be passing this on to them!
I don’t have any kids or plans to homeschool, but it’s great that you are sharing this info for interested parents looking into homeschooling 🙂
This is a great round-up of homeschooling resources. I have been homeschooling my kids for going on four years now. I do also write about our homeschooling journey a good bit on our blog too.
I’ll have to check your blog out! I’m sure you have a ton of post that I’ll need to pin to Pinterest. 🙂
Thank you for the resources! We homeschooled preschool last year, but I have my daughter signed up for a virtual school this year – we will see how it goes.
Great info! So glad I saw this! I saw the Well Planned Day a while back, and I was really interested in getting it, but I couldn’t remember the name to save my life! When I saw it, I was like “AH! That’s it!!” lol
I LOVE the Well Planned Day. I don’t know what I’d do without.
I homeschool my 7 and 3 year old children. I love more.starfall.com, pbskids, com, and gonoodle.com. There are also some websites attached to our library cards that we use for e-books. I’ll have to checkout some of the other websites that you mentioned.
Thanks for sharing some websites! I’ll have to check those sites out.
My daughter is advanced for her age and I am always looking for extra resources to continue “school” when at home. Thank you
