A great place to take the little ones while in Osaka is Kids Plaza Osaka.  It happen to be raining two of the four days we were in Osaka. We did indoor activities for toddler girl, this being one of them.  Kids Plaza is an indoor play area, but a museum that kids learn by playing.  It is also fun for adults as well.

We rode the train from JR Osaka Station, JR loop line to the Temma Station. We walked about 2 minutes west and were staying in front of the building Kids Plaza is in.  It is floors of fun and learning.  1st floor is the Welcome floor, here you buy admission ticket, learn about Ball Circus, and take the elevator to the 5th floor.  The 5th floor is the Discovery floor, on this floor it is about nature, science, society, and culture.

The 4th floor is the Adventure floor, on this floor you will find Kids Town, it is has maze like corridors, steps, colored windows, and a slide for the little kids. It reminds me of a tree house! Also on the 4th floor is party kitchen, kids street, library, peek-a-boo, vending machines, and there are tables to sit for eating and drinking.

The 3rd floor is the Creativity floor; it has computer studio, creative studio, and computer forum. We did not use this floor, as it had scheduled classes and it did not fit in our timeline. It also went along with my plan for summer learning fun for toddler girl.  This was not on our list of things to do when we planed our trip, but glad that we found it when looking for indoor things to do.
