Welcome to The Liz O Show. You are in for a treat. Having headlined at countless venues around the Bay Area, including Cafe du Nord, Brick and Mortar Music Hall, and the New Parish. I had to the chance to listen to her album, The Other Side.
This girl has a beautiful voice. Liz O makes you want to get up and dance. It’s feel good, having a good time music. Let’s jump right into my favorite songs off the album. Favorites include: The Water and Christine.
The Water, is mellow. It’s a song to have playing in the background as you are working. It’s up-tempo but mellow enough for you to get things done. Christine, is storytelling at its best. Liz O tells us a story with Christine, a relatable story. It has a magical feeling to it.
As always, I’m going to share a song, so that you can hear for yourself. So, check out this video of Liz O singing The Train Song.
About Liz O
Feisty, fiery, sassy, sweet, Liz O is a storyteller at heart. Her love of poetry and lyrics draw comparison to Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and Ani diFranco, while her guitar playing is rooted in the rhythms of the blues.
Born and raised in New England, she now calls California home, but travels often between the two coasts, telling stories and singing songs along the way.
