October Tea Time

Fall is here! I am not ready, please bring back summer. Unlike Elsa from Frozen, the cold does bother me.  I have put away my flip-flops and open toe sandals for some cute wedges and of course boots. Here are the latest happenings at Life of Creed and things coming up for October.

Gymnastics and jazz has started and the princess is loving them both.  This is her first time taking jazz, so I was not sure if it would be a hit. It is a total win! She loves it! This month she turns SIX! Yes, 6! My baby is growing up so fast.  She is excited about her birthday and is counting down the days. Of course she loves to dress-up so she is ready to buy a Halloween costume and dress up in her favorite character.

With Fall, comes decoration. Halloween and Fall decoration.  I love decorating my home for Fall.  Not so much with Halloween decoration, but with pumpkins and the colors of Fall.  I want to share a couple of easy craft ideas from my blogging friend over at B is 4. These crafts are kid friendly, so the kids can join in on the fun.  Here are a few of my favorites I will be doing to decorate my home with. Check out No Carving Pumpkin Decorating, DIY Fall Recycled Bottle Decor, and Black and Teal Halloween Pumpkins with Dots and Sprinkles for some decorating inspiration.

Last month, I told you all about starting a new blog A Girl and Her Headphones. I am slowly building the readership there. I also became Beachbody Coach too! I want to grow Life of Creed in the lifestyle and fitness coaching area and starting off, as a Beachboy Coach is a great way to do that.  September has kept me busy with becoming a #GirlBoss. I hope to inspire at least one person to chase after their dreams or take the leap to try something new.  October I will work on growing on social media.  If you are not a fan, please check out my Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest pages. My goal is to grow each social media channel by increasing my follow-ship by at least 100 new likes/follows.

Since cutting my hair short this summer, it is now colored ombre.  Last month was a beautiful violet color, you can see the color in my about me.  Now, it is currently ombre black to teal, just like my Kylie Hair Kouture by Bellami Hair Extensions. This way I can some day’s have my long hair and wear my hair in a ponytail, which I miss.  But I am enjoying being able to wear the fun colors.  I think I’ll be sticking with the teal for a while.

I love the color teal, looks good on you! It’s been so hot here especially since I now walk my son to school so I’m actually looking forward to cooler weather. I like decorating for fall, too. I haven’t started yet but that’s one of my goals this week. Wishing you a great month ahead 🙂

Thanks! Teal, is becoming my new favorite color. I haven’t started decorating either, I guess this weekend my daughter and I will start decorating, she is ready to paint some pumpkins and squash.

I love your attitude. Your hair looks so fun and amazing. I need some of that mojo to get out of my routine. An update is definitely what I need. As for goals. This month is just keeping up. It has only just begun and yet I feel behind.

Thanks! I have been wearing my hair, just blah for so long. Forever, lol. I know that feeling, seems like I am playing catch-up a lot these days. Maybe, it is because the days are feeling shorter with winter around the corner.
