I had the opportunity to try and review some make up products from Victoria Jackson Cosmetics. This was a fun blog post to work on. Toddler girl, even help with making an unboxing video for our Life of Creed YouTube channel, so make sure to check it out. I also have a coupon code at the end of the post for 25% off.
What’s in the box?
I received a nice note from the Victoria Jackson Cosmetic team, the foundation duo, gentle eye and face makeup remover, and survival kit.
What did I think???
My normal makeup routine is mainly eyes… I use eye shadow, mascara, and I use brow kit for my eyebrows. We planned to go out to dinner, so I thought it would be a great time to try out all the goodies I received. I did my normal face cleaning routine before applying the makeup. I’m not makeup guru, so I tried both color of foundations on each side of my face. I went with the lighter of the two shades, as the darker shade was too dark for my skin tone.
The foundation I applied it with a sponge, it went on very smooth. I also tried a foundation brush, but the sponge gave me better results.
For the eyes, I used the teal color eye shadow, eyeliner pencil, and mascara. OMG, the mascara went on so velvety. It did not leave the lashes feeling dry or clumped together.
For lips I used the red lip color. It went on smooth and stayed on well. The lip color I put on was not to bright and just enough tint to show that I did have lipstick on.
Once we were home from dinner, I tried the makeup remover. It did a great job of removing all the makeup from my face; however, it did not smell lovely. It has a strong chemical scent. Works good, smells bad.
