Well, it is officially November! OMG, we will be transferring next month! From previous posts, this one and this one, I have shared we will be PCSing back to the USA.  I have not been blogging as much, as there has been a lot of things to do in preparation for the move.  Since it has been a little quiet on the blog lately, I wanted to give a quick post.

I have some great ideas I am working on for the blog, to kick off the New Year in a New Country (so to speak) with some fresh, exciting post.  This blog started in Japan, to be able share things to do in Japan, kid-friendly places, and places to explore in Japan.  In the almost to years of the blog, it has bloomed into more than just being about Japan. It has been about travel, homeschooling, food, etc.   My tagline has been “Adventures of a SAHM living in Japan” and I am a bit sad to have to change it because it was the start of the blog.  But as location changes, the tagline must follow suit.

November also brings about many people on social media saying each day what they are thankful for.  What are you thankful for? Please share in the comments something you are thankful for.  November is also my parents anniversary, my dad and sister’s birthday. We cannot forget that November 11th is Veteran’s Day? If you have a message or story you want to share, about a veteran? Please use the Contact Me form and your story may be posted on the blog on Veteran’s Day.

Before I wrap this post up, November the temperature is slowly dropping and that means sweaters and boots. Living in Japan, all winter I am in a pair of boots.  Here are some cute items to add to your kid’s wardrobe (affiliate photos/links).

Cute coat and dress with shoes.

Color block dress. Would be cute in holiday pictures.

These boots can go with everything! Jeans. Dresses. Skirts.

Perfect for keeping warm! The little bows are adorable.

This is great for Thanksgiving! The little one can be comfortable, but still look great in the family pictures.

School pictures. Holiday pictures. Church on Sunday. The places that your little guy can wear this is endless. The shirt and coat can be mixed and match with a pair of jeans.

Something for just hanging in the house, playing on the playground, or running errands with mommy. Too cute!
