The video is amazing cool. It’s simple, but keeps you entertained. Like music should. The song itself has this old funkadelic beat going. Of course you get a little piano at the end of the song, which I am totally digging. You have to watch the video just to understand how cool this song is. And if you love it, make sure to keep reading, because The Black Lemons have an upcoming show in Nashville, TN. If you live in the area, make sure to show them some love.

About The Black Lemons

The Black Lemons’ fans say they sound like, The Beatles, Tom Petty, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, The Tubes, The Pixies, Steely Dan, ELO… The ’70s and ’80s influences are clear, but the magic is in how all of these references come together to create The Black Lemons’ sound. Songwriter/bass player Stephen Simon says, “Write it and record it like David Bowie. Play it live like Iggy Pop.”

Stephen, and guitarist, Jay Lawrence, shuffled instruments and players, until they picked up Philadelphia native Scot Sax on drums. Scot is a successful musician in his own right, with two major label deals, and a Grammy for song writing. Stephen jumped over to bass, and, voilà, The Black Lemons.
