A fun place to check out is the Hollywood Wax Museum Pigeon Forge. It’s a short drive from Gatlinburg if you are staying there. This was our first time going to a wax museum and Charmingly CJ was all about taking selfies.

You can see the building a block away when driving towards it, as there is a gorilla that looks like it’s climbing the side. We arrived at the museum about mid-afternoon and it was not super busy. There was no wait to purchase tickets and we were able to leisurely check and snap photos without other’s waiting their turn. Be ready to take photos, make silly faces, use the props provided for use near many of the wax figures. As you can see below the Adventure Squad was phones in hand taking selfies.

When we purchased our tickets we did the All-Access pass and was able to use the V.I.P. access to go to the top of the museum’s roof. You can see the gorilla and look out over Pigeon Forge. You take an elevator and enter an access code to go to the roof, once out there you can climb a flight of stairs to get to the gorilla and take photos. It was a little too high for my liking.

This is a really fun museum and one to check out if you haven’t been to one of the Hollywood Wax Museums.
