Toddler cooking class in Tokyo

I signed up for the Winnie the Pooh’s Hunny Yogurt Fruit Tartlet Mommy and Me class.  This past Monday, toddler girl and I rode the train to Shibuya, for our first mommy and me cooking class.  It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, but you can also ride the bus from the train station to a stop near the class.  Anna-Marie, who is a chef, has everything set-up for the toddlers to whisk, smash, and even roll out their own dough.

For this class, Anna-Marie starts the toddlers off with making the dough for their tartlets.  After all the ingredients for the dough is mixed the toddlers now begin to roll out the dough. Using tart and cookie cuts the toddlers make the tartlets and few Winnie the Pooh and Tigger cookies.  While the tarts and cookies are baking, the toddlers being to combine and mix the ingredients for the yogurt cream.  Once that is mixed and the tarts cool, Anna-Marie read a story to the toddlers and gives them a color sheet to color.  Once the tartlets have cooled, the kids are able to put in the yogurt cream and decorate the top with some fruit.  We made four tartlets, one we ate there and the other three we took home with us.  Toddler girl has told me every day how much she enjoyed the cooking class. I will be signing her for other class.
