Ok, this is the BEST pizza in the world! As you will see from this post , this post, and the post here that I have been searching for good pizza in Japan. We have found some awesome spots to eat at, but nothing compares to the pizza at Pizza Village in Lafayette, Louisiana, USA.
Every time we go to Louisiana, eating at Pizza Village is on the top of our list. It is our family lunch that B, toddler girl, and I must do.For this visit to Pizza Village- Moss Street location, I ordered the small Dupe Special and added the black olives, which is toddler girls favorite topping. B ordered a medium Landry Special without the shrimp. Toddler girl and I shared the Duped Special, while B ate on the Landry’s.
Did I mention that the pizza crust is the best? The cracker crust, as it is called. It is crispy, not to thin, and cook prefect. You will not get a pizza that flops over when you pick it up, even when it is loaded with toppings. Pizza Village has the recipe and cook time down to a science, they have been making pizza since 1971.
I will drive or fly to be able to eat pizza here. I look forward to being in the States in a few month to be able to drive down to Louisiana and eat at Pizza Village. If you are anywhere within the area, you must check them out. They have two locations in Lafayette area.

My son and I are such pizza addicts, so this is too perfect for us to check out. LOL – it’s our mommy and me bonding time when we go try new pizza.
We are a pizza loving family too! I am already planning my next trip to Pizza Village, even though it is months off before we can visit there again. I think I may have to visit one of the pizza places near my house today.
Yum – that looks good!! Man, now I’m hungry!! ha/ha
I’m getting hungry too, lol. I thinking I need to go eat pizza this week. Just wish it would be Pizza Village.
If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would probably be pizza! That looks AMAZING. I live in New England, but lived in Maryland for 3 years and I still to this day (7 years later) miss Ledo’s Pizza in College Park/Hyattsville.
Pizza is toddler girls and myself favorite food. We could eat pizza a few times a week. I will have to check out Ledo’s Pizza when I am in the States. It’s always fun to find new pizza places to check out.
There is sooooo much meat on that pizza. The both looked yummy and the photos made me hungry.
Pizza is prettty much one of my life greatest passions. 🙂 Looks delish!
