When you come back from a cooking course to your own kitchen, you may have that renewed sense of enthusiasm, but it’s also important to allow yourself the space to experiment, which also means preparing for mistakes. Not every meal is perfect, and something will always go in the garbage. But if you make time for mistakes and remember that everybody has burnt things or created something inedible, you can give yourself a pass, and this can slowly help you develop a love for cooking.
It’s tough when we don’t have the time, but cooking is one of those things that is infinitely resourceful, and we should make time to develop a love for it.
