Happy Hour at Yard House Waikiki

One of our favorite places to go while on the Island of Oahu is Yard House Waikiki. We go at least once while we are in Hawaii.

Good food, drinks, and has a kid menu! Service was VERY slow for our visit there, as it took about 10 minutes before B got up to find the manager, asking for a waiter to please come to our table.  But once we finally had someone come our table, service was good. I will say each time, we have went to Yard House the service has been slow, but the food is good and worth the wait.  And after we had ordered everything and was enjoying the food and drink the manager came to the table to let us know that our meal including alcoholic beverages had been compensated. We told him that was not necessary, but everything was on the house. How wonderful and a good way to kick off our vacation with free food and drinks.

The kid’s menu has something for even the picky eater, like toddler girl.  It is sure to please the hungry belly of the little ones and there is even an activity book to help keep the kids busy while waiting on the food.

We like going at Happy Hour. Happy Hour & Late Night is Monday – Friday 2pm – 5:30pm and Sunday – Wednesday 10:30pm – Close. During Happy Hour there are select half-price appetizers, pizzas, and drinks.  Some of our favorites include spinach cheese dip, blue crab cakes and firecracker wings on the Happy Hour menu.  Other favorite on the menu are: lobster, crab, & artichoke dip, fried calamari, and fish & chips.  The drink menu is wonderful with a great selection of beers.

It is a place that if you go once you will go back again and again.  We enjoy going there every time we go on vacation.  It is on the top of our list for places to eat at while in Hawaii.
