I am excited to share with you a wonderfully written and illustrated book for children and even adults title The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden. The book is written by Kevin DeYoung and illustrated by Don Clark.
This is the first book I have read by Kevin DeYoung and it was a great read. It explains the biggest story beautiful and in a way I have yet to read to. The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden is a nice book to introduce young kids to the bible or help other kids with bible study.
Kevin DeYoung re-tells the stories in such a way, that you simply cannot stop reading the book. I have read all these stories in the bible, but his style of story telling, is amazing. It just draws you into book, making you turn to the next page, because you want to know how he’s going to retell it.
I cannot forget about the beautiful illustrations by award-winning artist Don Clark. They are bright, bold, and eye-catching. They compliment each story being told very well.
At the end of the book, Kevin DeYoung writes a lovely note to parents. He ends the book by saying “I pray that for some this book may become a treasured member of the family, a book that you and your children, or you and your students, keep coming back to time and time again.” This book is a great add to the family bookshelf, that the whole family can enjoy.
