I’m back in Las Vegas to for The Butterfly Returns, Mariah Carey’s current show at Ceasars Palace. I’m staying at the Bellagio again. You can click here to read about my first time staying here.

It took forever to get here! The flight was delayed. Finally got to board the plane, to only sit on the plan for almost an hour to be told the flight is delayed again and that everyone would have to deplane. This delay would cause me to miss my connecting flight, so I use the American Airline app to change my flight to one later. Eventually, the flight leaves and when the plane arrives at DFW, I get to my gate for my connecting flight and it has a short delay a well. But that gives me time to grab some dinner before the next flight. Finally, I make it to LAS, I get my luggage and made my way to the rideshare to get my Uber.

Traffic is crazy to get the Bellagio and takes longer than normal. I get to the hotel a little before midnight. I had already done mobile check-in, so I just need to get room key. The mobile check-in area is close so I had to go to the lobby, there is a line so I wait about 30 minutes. Let me tell you, do the mobile check-in. It’s the best and it does make it easier. If my flight would have been on time, I would not have had to wait.

Once I’m checked in, I head to the elevators to get to my room. This time I’m on the 21st floor in the Spa Tower. I stayed in this tower before and I really like it. This go round, I did a pool view and to my surprise, I also had a partial fountain view. Since my trip was to see Mariah Carey in concert, I didn’t have any shopping planned. I did have a plan to go to the Real Bodies at Bally’s, but other than that it was all about Mariah.

The Bellagio Las Vegas is located on the Strip and in walking distance to Bally’s and Caesars Palace. It is a beautiful hotel. I always have lady luck on my side when in the casino. When walking into the hotel lobby area, you are greeted by a huge, but absolutely gorgeous front desk registration area. If you look just past the lobby you will see the Conservatory, which is always decorated beautifully.

This hotel is a somewhat glamours, but I do find it can be on considered pricey. But trust me, it’s worth the cost to stay at the property. But if you are looking for Vegas, but a little bit laid back, this is the spot. It’s not a rowdy crowd here. If you a looking for a place to relax, but still take in the sights and sounds of Vegas I recommend staying at the Bellagio. You have to stay here at least once.

Where I’m Eating

I ate at Cafe Bellagio and Noodles. So these two were in my last blog post and because they were good, I went back to eat there again.

Service at Cafe Bellagio was good, I went for both breakfast and also at dinner time. There was no wait and able to get a table quickly, even at dinner time. At dinner, I was able to sit near the window with a poolside view.

Service at Noodles was good as well. This was my lunch spot. Each time I when there was no wait and was able to get a table quickly. The Spicy Noodle Shrimp Soup was amazing. I also tried the Crab Fried rice, which was delicious. I haven’t had crab fried rice since l lived in Japan.

Shopping

I didn’t do any shopping, but I did go across from the Bellagio to Miracle Mile Mall to Pandora to get a charm. Which was good, because there was a great promotion going on where you could get a free ring, leather bracelet, or earring. So, I was able to get a free ring.

Inside the Bellagio… There is plenty of shopping. There is the Promenade Shops which have SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, Tutto, Bella Donna, Capri, Optica, Platino, and The Pool Shop. You can also find the Via Fiore and Hotel Lobby Shops shops – Essentials, Valentino, Giardini Garden Store, Hermès, OMEGA, Tesorini, Newsstand, and Guerlain. My favorite area of shopping is the Via Bellagio Shops, which has Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Prada, Harry Winston, Chanel, Dior, Bottega Venta, Breguet, Fendi, and Giorgio Armani.

Conservatory

Of course, I have to talk about the conservatory. It’s located a few feet from the lobby. The theme is That’s Amorè, which is inspired by the beautiful landscapes and romantic vision of Italy. The exhibit has fountains, ornate crystal chandeliers, and trees overflowing with lemons. There is a 22-foot, wine covered fountain overflowing with water.

The Butterfly Returns

Because I’m here to see Mariah Carey, here are a few photos. If you been wanting to see Mariah Carey in concert, The Butterfly Returns would be perfect. Tickets are affordable and the show is amazing.
