Today’s Throwback Thursday Music is one of my favorite songs. You’ll learn that I have A LOT of favorite songs. Let’s talk about Mr. Jones, by the Counting Crows.
I remember this song from when I was a kid. It was released in December 1993. I remember singing along to the music, sometimes as loud as I could. I am not a great singer, heck; I’m not even a good singer. But I like to believe that I am, lol. This is one of those songs for me, which bring back memories. Memories to wonderful and fun times at school. Yes, school! I know, crazy. But school was a place to talk with friends about music.
You can find the song Mr. Jones on their 1993 debut album August and Everything After. Counting Crows is currently touring. Check out here for tour dates. Here’s the video, so sing along or even get up and dance.
About Counting Crows
They are an American rock band from California. Adam Duritz and David Bryson formed the band in 1991. Friend and guitarist David Immerglück, played with the duo from time to time, even though he recorded some of the songs on the first album, he was not an official member of the group. In 1993, the band grew with Matt Malley on bass guitar, Charlie Gillingham on keyboards, and Steve Bowman on drums.
